Meet the Team

Kari N Novak, LMSW

As a licensed master clinical social worker, I offer therapy in a non-judgmental, safe and confidential environment. I provide a space where individuals feel comfortable sharing their concerns so that we can work together to gain insight on life's stresses and struggles. I collaborate with clients to develop effective coping mechanisms, process through life experiences, and accomplish personal goals.

My clinical background includes therapy with individuals, couples, and families related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, and grief and loss concerns. I believe therapy can be a tool to help move us toward a more balanced life. I draw from a variety of frameworks with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, using a strengths-based and empowerment approach. More recently, I have focused my services on providing Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) after receiving specialized training from the Tourette's Association of America.

Allison Gorton, LLMSW

Taking steps to begin therapy can be incredibly difficult, and I am so happy you have made it this far. I am passionate about empowering others to make the positive changes they want to see in their lives. I aim to provide my clients with an environment in which they feel comfortable and safe to process through whatever is troubling them related to anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship issues, and more. I also provide Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) for children and adults.

Drawing from a variety of evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I will work with you from a strengths-based approach to help you set your own goals and make progress toward them. I believe mindfulness practices are especially helpful for us to identify and accept our own feelings, as well as improve our communication with others.

Angie Wall, LLMSW

Life can be hard at times, and often very unpredictable. We may find ourselves not equipped with the tools we need to process all of life's challenges, or we may just need safe space to talk through the issues that arise. I believe in creating a collaborative space where my clients feel safe, secure and not judged to explore areas and skills to help you live your best life.

As a clinical social worker, I work with adolescents, adults, families and couples. My experience and training have been helping clients to deal with trauma, anxiety, grief, life transitions, chronic illness, caregiver fatigue, self-esteem and depression issues. I also provide Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for TICs (CBIT) therapy. I take a holistic approach looking at each individual and the many systems that make us who we are. I incorporate several techniques through CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, Family Systems, Solution Focused and Strength Based therapies to look at each individual as a whole.

Therapy is a gift we give ourselves, and I want to applaud you for taking time for you and your needs. Together, we can work on any past or current issues that are holding you back in your own life. I would be honored to take this step of your journey with you.
